Three Hour Renewal Class
All you need to know to become a Commissioned California Notary Public

Once you begin the course, you have 90 days to complete the course and to download any additional materials that accompany the class package. After registration you will have an account and login information for the duration of the 90 days. You can log in and out as much as you like, however you must complete the course within the 90 days. After the 90 days, you will have to sign up again to complete the course.

After your account expires, you will not be able to download the workbook and handbook, (located above) however, you can find these items on the California State website, https://www.sos.ca.gov/notary/. We also have these available in print, on our products page. The printed copy comes in a durable notebook, which you can easily add to your notary bag.

This 3 hour renewal course is a mandated by the State of California in order to renew your commission. There are 3 chapters and each chapter is given a time frame relating to the amount of information in each chapter. You can always go back and review anytime but, you will not be able to move forward until the proper amount of time has passed. Once you have completed the course, you will have to pass the quiz at the end to receive your certificate. You will need a certificate to take the state exam.

At the completion of this course you will receive a certificate. Please verify that your certificate prints with all your information on the certificate, including your – Name – ID – Drivers License number – Expiration Date – State Issued and Completion Date.
